Civil Engineer Married 2 yes
I have had a wonderful career helping my clients to design and build railroads around the world.  Fortunately we only moved once while our children were growing up, but we have moved 10 times.  This has led to some great adventures and much exploring.  It has left us envious of those who have been able to put down deep roots.  The projects have taken us to England to rebuild the West Coast Route, Las Vegas to work on Yucca Mountain, and recently to LA to do a nine mile extension of the subway.  I am now in Hartford CT working on a number of projects in New Haven.

I have also been involved in two national competitions aimed at getting students interested in engineering and city planning.  One is the Future City Competition and the Other is FIRST Robotics.  Both have given me a chance to give something back and help develop more engineers to rebuild our aging infrastructure.

Fortunately my wife, Darlene, has had many good jobs in treating diabetes  while we raised a family. It has been a good partnership for the last 50 years.

Thanks to those who helped pull the reunion together.

After graduating from Albion College, I taught with Birmingham Public Schools in Michigan. Dick and I moved to Anderson, Indiana, when we were married. We have two grown children and four grandchildren.

I taught with Anderson Community Schools for 40 years. After retiring in 2010, I'm still wondering how I ever had time to work. Although I've given up snow skiing, I enjoy the outdoors and try to stay active. My interest in music has continued, and I'm currently in an Indiana state chorus that performs several times a year. Yes, music still makes me happy!

Dick and I enjoy spending time with family and friends, weekends at the northern Indiana lakes, and traveling.  We are looking forward to attending the reunion in May.

I have been married to Harry since 1966, six months before he went to Vietnam with the Marines.  In spite of seeing action during Tet, he returned to me unharmed.  We have had four children, although two of them have passed away.  Our remaining two girls have blessed us with six grandchildren.  Spending time with them, working in my yard, reading, and attempting to "walk humbly with my God" keep me busy these days.  We have lived in Hanover County, just north of Richmond, for over thirty years.
Thank you to all those who have worked so diligently on the reunion and enjoy yourselves!

This is exciting!  I actually found my yearbook!  I can't make the reunion but am excited about a Memory Book. Also a huge "thank you" to the folks who were able to put together this contact information and the reunion.
My adventures, after high school, included wandering around Italy and Germany, staying in hostels, working on a kibbutz, visiting my folks in Pakistan, then returning to USA.  After some starts and stops graduated with a degree and graduate work in Education.  I taught elementary and college classes in Idaho and Montana.  My favorite activitiy with spouse was backpacking, however my lung cancer has changed our lives.  I now create stoneware pottery and market in galleries.  We visit the wild lands in Montana in a little camper.

I got married to Karen in 1972.  We are now both retired attorneys with two daughters, one grandson, and a second on the way.  After graduation from GW  law school, I spent five years in a variety of government agencies practicing labor and employment law.  I then spent 30 years at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, a large non-profit corporation, primarily as the organization's General Counsel and director of their litigation program.  I retired from full-time practice in 2007 and continued to practice law on a part-time basis until 2012.  I now spend many hours as a volunteer at Suburban Hospital.  Send Stephen a MessageSend Stephen a Message

Although my degree is in Animal Science, most of my adult life has focused on photography; researching, shooting and editing for a variety of publications and clients.  I moved to the south of France in 1991, and launched a photography workshop company which kept me fulfilled and busy until my retirement.  My English husband and I split our time between Bandol on  the French Mediterranean coast, Mexico’s Pacific coast, and other exciting destinations.  My passion for riding horses, sparked during high school, continues today.  The amount of effort gone into this web site and reunion is impressive, and I regret I will not be there with you.  Enjoy it all!

RETIRED/SELF EMPLOYED Married 2 yes
Hello Class of 1964,

Wow, that is a long time ago. I wish all the very best and that life has treated you well.
After graduating from Whitman I went to MJC for a year where I played basketball for awhile and then off to Memphis State. Gave it a try but saw too much bench time and came home to attend the Univ. of Md. After realizing that it was important to attend class I finally buckled down and began to put my life together.
High school was a great run and being fortunate enough to play for Coach Darget and my teammates was something I will always cherish. Playing in The Dome was something special and hearing the student body and cheerleaders yell for us I will never forget.
Life goes on however and I have been blessed with a beautiful wife ( Cynthia ) of twenty four years and two beautiful children ( JB and Kendell ). JB nows attends the Univ. of Ky. where he is a Sophmore and Kendell is about to graduate from Ryle HS. in Union, Ky. She will be going to UK also. JB played soccer at Transylavania Univ. for a year before tranferring to UK. He made their club team which competes in the SEC but had to hang up his spikes when it was cutting into his studies to much. Kendell wants to major in Fashion at this time.
I went to work for Pitney Bowes for 35 years in both Sales and Mgt. running the Govt. Sales Branch in Wash. DC. I later moved to Northern Ky. with Cynthia and JB and shortly after Kendell was born. I stayed with Pitney before retiring in 2008. I was fortunate enough to have invested wisely and was able to purchase some buildings in downtown Cincy which I now rent out along with some parking lots.
We have a very nice home in a development named Triple Crown Country Club with all streets named after anything dealing with horses or The Kentucky Derby, imagine that living in Ky. lol.
We travel often with Cabo San Lucas being are favorite spot so we  purchased a place there.
Well enough for the rambling. I wish the very best to all of you and extend an open invitation to anyone if you are ever in Cincy to come visit and stay at our place if you want.
